It was estimated there were more than 3,500 reenactors and 40,000 visitors attending the two day event.
My husband, sister and I attended and thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks to my sister, Cindy, for helping me take photos. Never have I had the opportunity to photograph a more interesting group!! It was the most fun one can have taking photos. We had three cameras going the entire time. I took liberty in post processing most of the photos to make them more interesting. It also helped turn some not so good photos into more interesting ones. The participants were from all parts of the country. Thanks to all the reenactors for putting on such a fine show and educating the public on such an important historical event.
